Tub to Shower Conversions in Jacksonville, FL
Most people who call us about this have not taken a bath in years. The tub takes up the best part of the bathroom, it is awkward to step into, and it is used for storing shampoo bottles. We replace it with a shower built to the same footprint, usually in a day.

Should you convert, or keep the tub?
Our Tub To Shower Conversion Services
Convert if nobody has used the tub as a tub in the last year, if stepping over the wall is getting harder for anyone in the house, or if you have another tub elsewhere. Keep the tub if you have young kids or plan to, if it is the only tub in the house and you are selling within a couple of years, or if you actually take baths. That last group is smaller than people expect, but it is real, and if you are in it a bathtub replacement is the better job.

Custom Tub-to-Shower Conversions
The tub and surround come out, and a shower goes in the same footprint. The drain usually stays roughly where it is, which is what keeps this a one-day job.

Walk-In Shower Installation
A short curb instead of a full tub wall. Easier to step over, still contains water well, and it works in most existing bathrooms without touching the floor structure.

Barrier-Free Shower Systems
No lip at all, with the floor running level into the shower. Best for walker or wheelchair access. Possible in the tub space, though it depends on the floor structure and we confirm that at the consultation.

Premium Shower Wall Systems
Non-porous acrylic and composite panels with far fewer seams than tile, so there is less for water to get behind and no grout to go black.

Custom Shower Remodeling
Built to your bathroom's measurements rather than a catalogue size, so there are no filler strips and no awkward gaps.

Frameless Glass Shower Installation
Clear glass and minimal hardware, so nothing dates the room in five years. Works with either acrylic or tile walls.

We are so appreciative for the craftsmanship, knowledge in their field and care they put into all of the details during our Master Bath remodel. They were hard working, punctual, respectful and caring. They were a joy to have working in our home. The camaraderie between Chris and Christian on the job site was fun to listen to. We fired the 1st company hired to do our remodeling due to lack of craftsmanship and communication on the 1st shower. Frontline did not disappoint, Christian would usually respond to a text within minutes. These 2 came to bid the job, and arrived to do the work. So rare these days to not have a 3rd party coming into your home blind and oblivious to your needs and wants. Thank you guys, much success on all of your endeavors. We will pass your name and number to anyone interested in bath remodels❗️❗️Posted on Google![]()

We recently completed a bathroom remodel and couldn’t be happier with the results. The workmanship was excellent, the materials were high quality, and every detail was handled with care. The team was professional, punctual, and respectful of our home throughout the process. The project was completed on time, and the finished bathroom looks beautiful, modern, and functional. We would highly recommend them to anyone considering a bathroom renovation.Posted on Google![]()

Frontline Home Interiors is the definition of craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication. From the very beginning, it was clear that this isn’t just a job to them, it’s a standard they take personal pride in upholding. What impressed me most was their work ethic. Every detail mattered. They didn’t rush. They didn’t cut corners. They approached the project with a level of care and precision that you rarely see anymore. You could tell they genuinely care about the outcome, not just finishing the job. If something wasn’t perfect, they fixed it without hesitation. If there was a way to improve something, they did it even when it required extra time and effort. Their dedication shows in the small things: the clean lines, the flawless finishes, the way everything is aligned and balanced. They treated my home like it was their own. The pride they take in their work is obvious, and that pride translates directly into quality. Communication was consistent and honest throughout the process. They were transparent about timelines, respectful of my space, and committed to making sure I was completely satisfied before considering the project complete. That level of accountability is rare. Frontline Home Interiors doesn’t just deliver results they deliver excellence through discipline, precision, and genuine care for their craft. If you want a company that stands behind their work and puts their name on it with pride, this is the team you call.Posted on Google![]()

We first found Chris on Thumbtack and So Glad we did as we bought a condo in Hilton Head and it needed HELP. CHRIS WAS THE MAN FOR THE JOB as he and team worked tirelessly to transform a 1.5 jack and Jill bathroom set into 2 full bathrooms complete with tile. He was great as he fit us in when other jobs he was working on had delays and also worked many weekends. We also utilized his skills to help build out a closet in another part of the condo. Mind you he did this while just meeting us on the phone while he was in HH and we were out of state. He also played well with other as we needed our electrician to assist with some old incorrect wiring. Just can’t recommend him enough (although my wife feels like she is a better painter) that said she is a great painter. Altogether he was on time on budget and super flexible. We love him and fully recommend him and his team!!!!Posted on Google![]()

Tub to Shower Conversion FAQs
How much does a tub to shower conversion cost?
It varies with the size of the space, the material you pick, and the condition of what is behind the wall. Acrylic runs less than tile. You get a fixed written price at the free consultation rather than a range.
Is a tub to shower conversion worth it?
If nobody uses the tub, yes. You reclaim the best footprint in the bathroom and make it easier to get into. If you have young children, or it is the only tub in a house you are about to sell, keeping a tub is the better call.
How long does it take?
Usually one day when we work in the existing footprint. Longer if the drain has to move or there is water damage behind the wall.
Do you have to move the plumbing?
Usually not. The shower drain generally sits close enough to the tub drain that it does not need relocating, which is what keeps the job to a single day.
Does removing a bathtub hurt my home value?
Only if it leaves the house with no tub at all and your buyers are likely to have small children. If you have another tub, or you are staying for the long run, a modern shower is more appealing than a dated tub.
Can I get a walk-in or curbless shower in the tub space?
Yes. A low-threshold walk-in is the most common version. Fully curbless is possible but depends on the floor structure, and we will confirm at the consultation.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, two. First responders and military get 10% off, with no expiry date. And there is $300 off any job over $5,000. Tell us at the consultation and we will apply it to your written price.
