Argyle Forest is planned-subdivision territory on Jacksonville’s southwest side, built out in phases from a fairly consistent set of house plans. The housing is largely slab on grade, typically with a primary bath and one or two secondary baths, and the fixtures were chosen to a builder budget rather than a homeowner one.

That makes the work here different from a historic district job. The layouts are usually workable as they stand, and what wears out is the surface: a fiberglass tub and surround that has gone dull or cracked, a shower pan that no longer drains cleanly, a garden tub in the primary bath that nobody uses. One option in a primary bath is replacing a little-used garden tub with a full walk-in shower, which puts the same space to better use. CHRIS WAS THE MAN FOR THE JOB as he and team worked tirelessly to transform a 1.5 jack and Jill bathroom set into 2 full bathrooms complete with tile. He was great as he fit us in when other jobs he was working on had delays and also worked many weekends. We also utilized his skills to help build out a closet in another part of the condo. Mind you he did this while just meeting us on the phone while he was in HH and we were out of state. He also played well with other as we needed our electrician to assist with some old incorrect wiring.  Just can’t recommend him enough (although my wife feels like she is a better painter) that said she is a great painter.  Altogether he was on time on budget and super flexible.
