Production Bathrooms, Rebuilt to Last

Oakleaf Plantation was built out in phases as a master-planned community straddling the Clay and Duval line, which means large numbers of homes share a small number of floor plans. If you have lived here a while you already know that your neighbor two streets over has the same bathroom you do.

That also means the problems repeat. The same fiberglass tub and surround, the same shower pan, the same primary bath layout with a garden tub squeezed beside a small shower. The layouts themselves are fine, so the work is about replacing production materials with ones that hold up, and sometimes about turning that garden tub into a proper walk-in shower. Every option we install is set out on our Jacksonville bathroom remodeling page.

We work across Oakleaf Plantation and the surrounding Argyle Forest and Oakleaf Village areas along Oakleaf Plantation Parkway. We also cover Argyle, Orange Park and Middleburg. Wherever you are, you get a written quote for your specific bathroom and the scope you approve.

What We Install in Oakleaf Bathrooms

The work we take on here is walk-in shower installation, tub-to-shower conversion, bathtub replacement and full remodels. In a production home the layout usually stays exactly as it is, and the upgrade is in the materials and the fixtures.

Remodeling a bathroom in Oakleaf Plantation

Water supply in Oakleaf Plantation

Oakleaf Plantation sits inside the Clay County Utility Authority service area. Treated public water means grout and glass are not fighting hardness or iron the way they do on a well, so the choice between tile and a panel system in Oakleaf Plantation comes down to look, budget and how much routine cleaning you are prepared to do.

What the houses are like

Newer slab-built housing dominates Oakleaf Plantation. That puts a firm boundary around layout changes, since moving a fixture means cutting and repairing the slab, and it puts no boundary at all around surfaces, shower systems, lighting and storage.

Where we would start

Builder-grade surrounds and undersized fans are the two things we replace most often in these homes. Neither requires a layout change, which keeps the project contained and the timeline short.

Access and scheduling

Because Oakleaf Plantation is largely planned community, there is usually an association with something to say about access, hours or debris. We sort that out before materials are ordered.

Permits

We handle the permit conversation up front. In Clay County plumbing work generally requires one, and the requirement for your specific Oakleaf Plantation address is worth confirming with the Clay County building department before anything is scheduled.

Shining Feedback from Our Valued Customers

Every Frontline bathroom is installed by our own certified crews, never subcontracted. That is why our Google rating sits at 5.0, and why most of our work comes from homeowners who were referred to us.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are so appreciative for the craftsmanship, knowledge in their field and care they put into all of the details during our Master Bath remodel. They were hard working, punctual, respectful and caring. They were a joy to have working in our home. The camaraderie between Chris and Christian on the job site was fun to listen to. We fired the 1st company hired to do our remodeling due to lack of craftsmanship and communication on the 1st shower. Frontline did not disappoint, Christian would usually respond to a text within minutes. These 2 came to bid the job, and arrived to do the work. So rare these days to not have a 3rd party coming into your home blind and oblivious to your needs and wants. Thank you guys, much success on all of your endeavors. We will pass your name and number to anyone interested in bath remodels❗️❗️

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Frontline Home Interiors is the definition of craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication. From the very beginning, it was clear that this isn’t just a job to them, it’s a standard they take personal pride in upholding. What impressed me most was their work ethic. Every detail mattered. They didn’t rush. They didn’t cut corners. They approached the project with a level of care and precision that you rarely see anymore. You could tell they genuinely care about the outcome, not just finishing the job. If something wasn’t perfect, they fixed it without hesitation. If there was a way to improve something, they did it even when it required extra time and effort. Their dedication shows in the small things: the clean lines, the flawless finishes, the way everything is aligned and balanced. They treated my home like it was their own. The pride they take in their work is obvious, and that pride translates directly into quality. Communication was consistent and honest throughout the process. They were transparent about timelines, respectful of my space, and committed to making sure I was completely satisfied before considering the project complete. That level of accountability is rare. Frontline Home Interiors doesn’t just deliver results they deliver excellence through discipline, precision, and genuine care for their craft. If you want a company that stands behind their work and puts their name on it with pride, this is the team you call.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We first found Chris on Thumbtack and So Glad we did as we bought a condo in Hilton Head and it needed HELP. CHRIS WAS THE MAN FOR THE JOB as he and team worked tirelessly to transform a 1.5 jack and Jill bathroom set into 2 full bathrooms complete with tile. He was great as he fit us in when other jobs he was working on had delays and also worked many weekends. We also utilized his skills to help build out a closet in another part of the condo. Mind you he did this while just meeting us on the phone while he was in HH and we were out of state. He also played well with other as we needed our electrician to assist with some old incorrect wiring. Just can’t recommend him enough (although my wife feels like she is a better painter) that said she is a great painter. Altogether he was on time on budget and super flexible. We love him and fully recommend him and his team!!!!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a permit for a bathroom remodel in Oakleaf Plantation?

It depends on what is being altered. In Clay County, plumbing changes and relocations generally require a permit, and other elements may as well. Keeping fixtures in their existing positions does not automatically mean a permit is unnecessary, so confirm the requirement for your Oakleaf Plantation address with the Clay County building department before work begins.

Is a newer Oakleaf Plantation bathroom worth remodeling at all?

It depends what is bothering you. Builder-grade fittings and surfaces in Oakleaf Plantation homes are often the first thing to date, and replacing them inside the existing footprint is a contained project. If the layout genuinely does not work, that is a different and larger conversation because of the slab.

Is it cheaper to do the bathroom in stages?

Usually not. Staging means repeating setup, working around finished surfaces and two rounds of disruption. It makes sense when the budget genuinely requires it, but doing the work in one go is generally both cheaper and shorter overall.

Do you serve Oakleaf Plantation?

Yes. Oakleaf Plantation sits inside our Clay County service area, and we also work across Orange Park, Fleming Island, Middleburg and Green Cove Springs. Bathroom remodeling is all we do, so the visit is a technical look at your room rather than a sales call.

How is the price for an Oakleaf Plantation bathroom worked out?

Every bathroom is quoted after we have seen it. You get a written quote for your specific room and the scope you approve, before any work begins, and the consultation costs nothing. A range given over the phone can be useful for orientation, but it is not the same thing as a quote.
